Womb Jewels is a collaboration between Julia Werup and goldsmith Emilie Ekwall. The project is a celebration and tribute to women and motherhood. A symbol of true love and respect for the female organ, the womb. It is an unfolding of female strength and vulnerability at the same time. Of pleasure, femininity and female power. A tribute of the woman’s body. A symbol of one of the woman’s most muscular organs – the uterus. The tree of life, the first home of all human beeings. The female organ where all life is conceived, grown and birthed.
